... goal is to insure the continuation of Norwegian Culture. The show was very good -- they wore traditional costumes and did several traditional dances. After the folklore show was the ship's show, a repeat performance of Stephen Clark, the flute player, and Kennedy, the mind reader. The summer months bring tourism, trade and transport, but in winter only one rids to the village is open - a series of hairpin bends known as Ørnavegen, the Eagle's Way. I also learnt a little more about the waterfalls that puncture the steep sides of the fjord - there are the Seven Sisters, the highest of which has a free fall of 250m, and opposite them a fall known as "The Suitor".
