We drove further down the highway to our last stop for the day in the lakeside city of Lucerne. This city epitomized the romantic side of Europe that tourists come to see. The streets were lined with beautifully designed architecture along cobblestone streets. It was a welcome change from the mostly modern buildings we saw in Geneva.

It's always nice to break apart from the group sometimes. The city is beautiful and has a really nice small town wholesome feel to it. The museum also houses a large collection of Dance Organs which you can play for a Euro a song. It is a strange eclectic museum with a huge amount of shop-store dummies dressed up and displayed in action poses. At times this is quite disconcerting

In this one, entrants tossed candies and fruit at the crowd. A few walked around and handed things out.
No kaffe-schnapps - could've used it - cold and drizzly out.
Tons of colorful paper confetti everywhere.
Unfortunately one of the floats chose to blast their sawdust at us just as it passed.
