    ... or 10 hour flight and I was loopy. But we made some good discoveries on Day 2. We toured the University of Bologna a bit, which is Europe's oldest university. Our library tour allowed for no photographs, which is fine. It left more room on my phone for food porn. That's what really matters here.

    I also bought toothpaste on this magnificent day, which brings me to my chosen TravelPod title. ...

    ... gradually towards the top. Narrow stairs made passing difficult but not too many people were attempting the climb. If you had a cardiac event on the stairs that would be it.     ... however visit a rather strange museum dedicated to the Etruscans. Sadly not much in English. However clearly they were rather keen on the afterlife. We popped into the main church to find that there was a Scout event going on with about a billion scouts milling around in rather a grand church.     We packed up ready to leave Florence. We had dome shopping to do before heading towards Venice. There is a large supermarket on the other side of the city that we headed for on the ring road.
