    We were awoken at 0620 by the engines as Capitano Tullio eased us away from the dock at Adria. We passed through a lock with a lifting bridge and motored through breakfast to arrive at Bosaro at about 0900. We offloaded the bikes and began to ride.     ... to relate to. There is a lot to see and some of it for the second time. Of course there is also 20th century Bologna which has less charm, but its historic centre is compact and fascinating.     ... and pedestrians all sharing narrow roadways. STOP and YIELD are only suggestions to most drivers as they merge at great speed and you better yield or else!
