Wow.... It seems that I am making a habit of being wrong.... At about 7.30 last night Emma posed the question "What is it going to be tonight?" referring to our luck with music, fireworks, noisy neighbours or other things that can keep us from a decent night sleep.... I responded with "Nothing, I think we will sleep like babies!" It wasn't until about 10.30 when we went to bed that I was proven wrong! ... had got so late by then we had to check it was cooked with a head torch! We are now sat outside n the dark, citronella candle burning, listening to tonight’s entertainment outside the bar; an Italian singer who sings well known classic songs….in Italian, and also plays the trumpet. It all worked out well, so big shout out to Claire!!

Of course, it wasn’t as easy as just get in the car and go. Oh no, Dub life is not that ...

... I wandered into the reception to ask how much they were…and came back with a free hire bike! Only problem was I’m **** on a bike….and these ones have no gears! I’d like to think after all these years I can still surprise Lyn….and tonight I did, as he knows how much I hate bikes. We went back over the first couple of miles that he had ridden (rode?) earlier. We went near the lake and saw the back of some ...

This is our last day of Italy! Following the Tiber Valley to reach Orvieto, perched high atop a volcanic rock. Here we tasted pastries at a local pasticceria and browsed through the many shops in the lanes off Piazza del Duomo. We ...
