... couple of kilometres from here). Exhausted we make our way back down, gelato to power up, ferry back to home and cook up dinner.
Today we are back on the ferry to Como, walk along the foreshore to check out some large villas on the west side - now all owned by the Como Provincial Government, then onto the 'fast boat' and up to Menaggio which is midway north up the lake. into hysterics. As instinct, I grabbed Clara and held her tight to my
body. Picking her up and lightly bouncing her. As she wailed for mom,
I began to walk and quietly sing open notes in any order that sounded
nice (a real song writing moment). Shortly after she began to fall
silent, that is when the ...

... airport, then shuttle bus to the holiday inn express. Buy am shre glad I left my umbrella in Florence because it was pouring. We can hear the church bells and it is very quite here. We took the shuttle bus to the crowned plaza for dinner and keeping with tradition had an aperal spritzer, cari had risotto Milanese and I had tagliatare pistachio pesto. A good meal. Then back to the hotel to get ...
