The Last Hurrah!
Today is our last full day in Aspen, and it starts with the 'Goodbye Again' event in the Sanctuary. It is hard to believe that it is all over after such a wonderful week. We made our way to the Sanctuary and said goodbye to our old and new friends with promises that we will return in the not-too-distant future.

... as the one and a half hour event turned into three hours of wonderful stories and songs. Alas it was over all too soon, and after a quick lunch, we went up to the Aspen Chapel to attend the Pete Huttlinger, Chris Nole, and Mack Bailey event, which was to begin at 2pm. ... within a matter of seconds, we realised that the Maroon Bells were completely covered by fog, so it was time for us to go and to return to Aspen and then to try to get a decent meal for a reasonable price. We ended up at the Aspen Hickory House, which specialises in baby ribs. They were good. We sat in the lobby for a while and had a drink, and talked to some people who were hanging around.
