Drove up to Aspen to see Richard Ford my grandson. Had dinner and walked around Aspen went to bed and drove back to Centenial to stay with her until Tuesday Morning.

... in El Paso, which was the last roadside hotel we stayed in; what a bargain.

Tomorrow we're off to Mt. Rushmore where we will actually be meeting Mary's cousin Nancy, daughter of her Godmother Agnes, who we saw earlier in the journey. Believe it or not Nancy is on a 3 month journey with her husband Steve and we are 100% coincidentally going to be at Mt. Rushmore at the same time they are. Wow!

... adorable, charming town. The town was pretty crowded due to all of the people coming to see the fireworks at night. We went to an awesome ice cream store for dessert and heard a lot of musicians from the Aspen music school performing in the streets for money. Was fun. ... because Jordan and Maya had to stop every 500 feet to look out at the mountains, take photos and take it all in. The views were absolutely amazing. When we were in this one valley area, we saw a place in the middle of no where where you can rent ATV's (all terrain vehicles) - otherwise known as quads.
