    ... afterwards.We then went to look at more history, we saw lots of relics from the Hellenistic period, it was amazing to be looking at such history. We went to see the Church of St George, the boys school, this was one of the few buildings to survive the earthquake on 23rd April 1933, the building of the boys school was destroyed. We went to see the Cathedral of Kos in the Metropolis square, Daniel went to see if we could go in unfortunately this wasn't possible. ...

    ... in the middle of the median strip adjacent to the marina - and they had a ball! We then went for dinner at a fairly average restaurant serving grilled meats and mezze, and all agreed that last nights was the best we've eaten here. After dinner - another look around the shops where Mitch was offered money by at least 4 shopkeepers for his footy - and had a kick through the market area with at least 3 of those. ...

    ... diamonds set in yellow gold which Ben was keen to buy me, but in truth I wasn't in the mood to buy- just to look.     ... wind picked up. The meltimi had returned, Saturday eve the thunder and lightening returned and it caused the electricity to go, thankfully we knew where the torch and candles were.     ... the chickens out to the North Sea! Chicken coops, dead and alive chickens went with the wind and out they went. never to be replaced. today Orkney specialises in cattle and sheep. A bit like King Island does in the Tasman Sea. so back to today, we do hope the breeze starts up again tomorrow as we start our bus tour up the west coast of Turkey - not the Scottish definition of breeze, just your every day Aussie ...
