    Today we visited the UNESCO town of Telc. Pronounced Telch like belch. Un untouched 16th. century town.

    Had a limited castle tour as they are filming the movie "Emperor". Barbara auditioned for a solo and got the part!! Only problem, we can't be here for the rest of the filming.

    ... for books in German, Latin, Spanish, Italian, and French. A case held books dating back to the 1600's. The Chapter Huose was a beautiful room with fabulous acoustics, now used for concerts and weddings. The cloisters were especially lovely, with renaissance decoration. And then there was the church.     ... through there the river valley here. Forest, cliffs, camping, streams, even an outdoor caf which decided to get a snack and drink at. Sat down and didn’t get served for 10 minutes. Melinda went up and asked and was pointed to go back to seat (Czech only here). Waited another 10 minutes, still no service so decided to "screw them", refilled water bottles in toilets and left.     ... where you look its just awesome, and up on the hill seen by everywhere is the castle and its bears. we had honestly thought our tour leader was pulling our leg when she told us there was bears at the castle but she wasnt, there is atleast 3 bears kept at the entrance of the castle, not sure why though. the city is surrounded by a river that is ver popular for rafting and kayaking down, this city is well known for its river rafting pub crawl. ...
