... we had visited. Yet a lovely experience as we left for our ship that had moved up river to Passau. As I said earlier that the countryside was as beautiful on our return journey. Perhaps the nicest since visiting Switzerland & certainly much larger farms were seen until we hopped over the boarder into Germany. Yes have visited 3 countries today as one does in a day. Ha!! As another day finishes I wonder what tomorrow will bring? Guten ...

Today we had a cruisie morning. Woke at 8:30 (needed the rest), breakfasted, watched some Greys Anatomy, checked out. Then we mozzied around the village of Cesky Krumlov. Apples and cinnamon with icecream, and a white chocolate hot choccie - ...

... company drove us to the starting point in Vetrni, around 5km up river, where they launched us off in our 2 man plastic raft-canoe. We were off! We were a bit wobbly at first and it took us a while to get into a rhythm (who am I kidding, Mikey did most of the rowing!). Actually, you hardly needed to row at all. It’s definitely not a race. The idea is just to amble your way down the river, so we would row a few strokes to get us pointed in the right direction, and then just rode the ...

... down narrow streets and admiring the painted walls, nearly every house has painted decorations on it, as usual it is cobbles all the way. We went into St.Vitus church which was another beautiful place of worship and continued climbing up until we had a great vantage point to see the city below. Of course there are many lovely little shops selling everything from marionettes to amber jewellery, we bought another porcelain mug this ...
