      ... to Cesky Krumlov was somewhat exciting because Austria was experiencing its first snow of the season and the roads were messy and slippery. Most of the drive was not on the highway, so we were able to enjoy watching the pastoral countryside being covered in a blanket of white. There is no direct train service from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov, so these shuttle services have sprung up to serve the tourist need.

      ... snow was appearing in the paddocks and side of the road. We stopped to take photos of the thatched cottage and the nice gentleman invited us in to his property which we did. He was very friendly which was nice as a lot of Germans and Austrians have been very abrupt. We have stumbled across a few nice ones for the record. We had a nice "bakerie" stop where Neil chose some macaroons. I ended up having one of them and they were delicious!! Well we finally got to our accommodation ...

      ... panels with one or two paintings on the walls and was furnished with one massive table for eating and then a bed for sleeping. I learnt that during this time it was customary for people to only eat twice a day, however they would eat for 4 hours straight!
