We put on our tourist hats back on today, jumped in the car, and headed down I5 to San Diego this morning. We had a few places in mind to visit, the first of which was Seaport Village. ... LA have the owner with photo of celebrities, especially old ones who the younger folk wouldn't even recognise. So today it was up early to catch my flight to New York to start stage 2 of the trip. I can't believe how fast the time is already going. But it's been great to catch up with friends who I rarely get to see given the distance. ... duke box at the end of the movie, but it wasn’t the same as the movie obviously!

We got the trolley to Coronado Beach which is a 4km stretch of white sand. It was November and the sun was out at 25degrees!! Pretty strange feeling really. We grabbed a subway and chilled on the beach taking in the scenic views!

Next stop was the old town in San Diego, once a village of Mexicans with it being so close to the border. It felt like we went back in time ...
