... towards the river to see what was waking us up at various times during the night. We couldn’t find any beast but could still hear it in the wooded area sounding like a moose, elk or cow. With no luck spotting the animal we headed back to camp. Sini went on line and she could rule out moose and elk in this part of the country, then a camper informed her that it was a cow making this sound - darn.

... took a long time with the truck since I didn't have an appointment. The conclusion was that the whole rear axle needed to be replaced and it would cost $2000 since there are different parts for US, Canada and Mexico they weren't sure if they could get Canadian parts for it. ... so we don't have to stress about getting through customs. The boys are bouncing off the walls, they are soo excited to be back in California. We breeze through customs thanks to friendly TSA officers, an anomaly we rarely see. Unfortunately, we leave the International terminal and have to walk to the unconnected Terminal 4, meaning we have to go through security again. Ugh!
