... into the water, and their inquisitive little faces as they stared at us from their deckchairs of sand.

That was pretty much it for today, apart from sushi for lunch in a cove on the beachfront, and seeing a bride and groom being photographed on the rocks. All I could think about was her dress getting ruined by the salt water!

Tomorrow morning we fly to Las Vegas!

... some of the dancing and then stop for lunch at La Pinata (I think the oldest restaurant in Old Town). It is a first for us and very good. Definitely a "go back to". Some more "wandering" and we come across a barn dance going on at Seely Stables. We walk back up the center of town and listen to a singer and watch a craft ...

... was a big mistake. I wandered around asking people if they speak English, and while some were helpful, I spent a lot of time looking dumb listening to people try to help me. So, I spent most of my layover in Paris trying to learn some basic French. This is going to take some serious practice, especially considering that in Morocco, some people MIGHT speak French, but most speak Arabic. Parles vouz Français? Because I don't... My flight to Fez ...

... that he didn't need me to pay extra for the use of the TV's. He told me they were all fine without them, and he was happy to wait until we got free ones on the flight from Houston. His sincerity made me smile, and I gave him a hug.

Leaving the plane for a connecting flight broke up the journey nicely and we headed off the plane at Houston with plenty of time for our connecting flight.

... hot tub was packed with little kids, so he returned to the room. After two hours, I returned to the room, as well, to get ready for supper.

At 7:00 PM, we all took a drive downtown to a new restaurant called Cucina Urbana at 505 Laurel Street. OMG, this might be my new favorite place, other than HoDad's, to eat in San Diego. Upon entering the restaurant, you see an eclectic mix of textures. The walls are clad with pieces of wooden crates, the stairs are lined with shoe ...
