... the show. The set, dolphins and dancers/acrobats were really good. Very different to the Gold Coast SeaWorld show.

From this show we made our way straight to Shamu Stadium to watch the 'One Ocean' Orca show. Man the Killer Whales are big. The 'splash zone' of the stadium is over 16 rows back. And they do not lie, you get completely drenched if you sit in any of those rows. The ...

... feel the internal rumble of a deep and primal hunger. The engine is getting up to speed, the core starting to demand more fuel. Tomorrow morning we depart by 6 am en route to Warner Springs and two large flat rate boxes full of delicious and varied food, a hikers dream come true.

... awesome! just look at them!! the noise and smell of the stadium was crazy and the cheers when some driver flung his vehicle twenty/thirty/forty feet into the air was deafening! the highpoint of the evening came with the last truck - the Gravedigger is hugely popular and the driver hit the track like Lucifer was behind the wheel, by the end of his run, his trick was wrecked and the track was reduced to dust. the baying crowd were going nuts and so were we!!!

... which involved women dressed as parrots being flown around the stage on wires whilst the dolphins flipped out of the water beneath them...all very weird. The shamu orca show was good, but we felt too guilty to really enjoy it...that passed very quickly later that night as we enjoyed a couple of margaritas at a Taco Tuesday night!
