After arriving at Missi's and a nice visit with my first mother in law (92+ years old), shopping Tuesday for holiday dinner, picked up Cheri, Tom, Taylor and Ryan for the events to follow.
Checked into our bargin condo. The roof in bathroom had fallen in and the place smelled like a French Wh*** house. Went back to office and complained- guy gave us keys to ...

... who don't inspire you for too long. Needless to say the travel bug has given me a hard bite. The reason I took so long to write this final blog was my slacking in getting pictures uploaded. Don't fret...they are up now and found here: http://travel.webshots.com/album/562377 782ZacZdZ Until my next trip....Thanks so much for reading :) Cheers, Justin
San Diego, California, United States bogit... right next to the border with Mexico, so the Old Town looked pretty much like a Mexican village. All the houses were paint in white, they had a main square and a lot of tourism shops too. There was super hot. Welcome to (very) Southern California, therefore to global warming. For 1,5 hour I was wandering around the streets where you had an impression that time has stopped there. Then I hopped on a trolley towards Downtown. I finally had to buy my travel tickets ...
San Diego, California, United States bogna... Again, being on a budget and having more than enough food in our van to last us, we did not indulge in anything but were grateful for the sampling of churros we received. A churro tastes just like elephant ears, funnel cakes, doughnuts, etc. and we were glad not to have spent our precious dineros. The vendors sure do have interesting and humorous ways of getting you to part with your money though. Here are a few classic ...
La Jolla, Mexico mikeandger... up. On the street, the touts were a little more ruthless, as were one or two prostitutes and even a transvestite. I think they're trained to look for that blurry-eyed stare... Anyway, back at the other clubs, I stumbled into some girls-gone-wild action which I'm sure is not so uncommon in these parts... it's amazing what relatively normal girls will do after a few shots, a little egging-on from the crowd, and to one-up the others. So I left that ...
La Ventana, Mexico pday... stand up and everyone cheered and I just felt it wasn't really the place or time to be doing that. It was followed by a video calling to support their soldiers. When the show finally began, it was pretty impressive, but the bit which disturbed me most was when the trainer surfed on top of the killer whale round the auditorium. I can see how it's entertaining but at the same time it's kind of sick. A similar thing happened at the dolphin/pilot ...
