... nothing to let us know why. Huntington Beach looks very affluent with lots of new buildings and wide open roads. Next Newport Beach had a McLaren garage, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari and Bentley! Serious money here. Willie was counting the number of banks. There was creek living at Crystal Cove and next was Laguna Beach. No thrift shops in this area. The coast line got more rugged again with huge houses on the hillside and clinging to the cliffs. At San Clement we decided ...
... we were sleeping so we decided on a carpark right on the beach! Brooke and Callan were also sleeping in there van. Steph, Allana and I all slept in the back of ours which was suprisingly not to squishy. It was beautiful to jump out of the van and see the ocean. Feeling like hippies hahah. It was great fun spending the day chatting away with Heather and then going out for ice cream with Kaitie before loading my suitcases into the trunk and beginning the 2 hour journey of laughter to Los Angeles. After a scrumptious last supper at Manhattan beach ...
When we arrived in San Diego unfortunately two things made it readily apparent that we were in America. The first was the water film on the bathroom counter in the airport. I usually contribute to that in my own house so I cannot throw stones. The second was that I approached a woman in baggage services and asked her how she was doing before inquiring as to where Lucy's skateboard would be delivered. "Hey how are you doing?"
