    ... shirt on.... We had an idea of other towns within around 60-90 minutes away but didn't have a preference so let cost decide. After checking a few places out we were able to get tickets to Peschiera del Garda for about 10Eur leaving tomorrow morning. We were glad since it looks really nice.

    Thank you for all your comments about the blog but we haven't quite finished yet! Still about 24 hours before we'll be on our doorsteps, a whole city still to explore and at least one more blog post! We reached Milan ok and our air b n b host greeted us at the station and escorted us to her flat!! Showered and dressed we set out on our last evening out.     (Last day!) Today we woke up earlier then we have ever woke up. When we woke up we headed to the airport and hopped on a flight to Milan. When we got to Milan we checked in to our hotel, and then had lunch. We had pizza again, but if was still delicious. After lunch, we headed to the pool and went swimming for a while. It was so fun!     ... feat of orienteering though it was to get there, at one point 333 (yep Rog counted them) steps down (and up again to the car) to get to them. No pleasure without pain, and there is plenty of both right here. Topped the day off with a fabulous meal cooked by the woman in the apartment next door and served in her garden over looking the lake...think I might be able to develop a taste for Chianti red...     ... one hour by train. Just waiting for our room and then into the city for a city tour. Checked in and taxi to the city tour. Visited la Scala opera theatre and museum, private boxes, very ornate, crystal chandeliers, 1700's, lots of Verde and Mozart was 14 when he performed his first opera nearby. Onto the 1877 galleria connecting Duomo and Scala squares, crossed with the cathedral and castle. Beautiful ...
