    ... Veneto. It was a bit of a ghost town but only a short train ride away from Venice. We spent one full day in Venice getting lost in the crazy dead ends streets and crossing the canals in the pouring rain. It is certainly a place like no other. It was very busy in the tiny touristy streets, then deserted in other streets.
