... and scarves and then stripping then off again in 5 minutes. After lunch we found a few museums; however with it being "May Day" (May 1) they were all closed. We wandered around some more, shopped some more, and then found a café for lattes and gelato (we spend a lot of time eating here!). There are some buildings here that have been abandoned. Nick thinks some of these building suffered too much damage from the big 1950s earthquake in Santorini ...

This morning we had our breakfast again on our verandah and soaked up the views (best thing to wake up to!). We then hired a quad bike for the day which we rode around the island. ... the airport is buzzing with activity and stalls selling roses and books.

The bus to the airport costs 5.80 euros each and gets us there in 20 minutes.

The 21/2 hour flight to Athens is comfortable and Kath asks the flight attendant about the time difference, 0 is the answer and we almost miss the flight to Santorini when we saunter into the ...

... Even my Greek Salad was oily, onion filled and gooey. Everyone else is raving about the food as if it is what they travel for. I have realised this trip that food is not my motivation and I would be happier with a Whopper meal with onion rings and a chocolate thickshake than any cuisine that the world chefs could serve me. I do love feta tho and that is Greek, so I’ve been lapping that up!
