... have to go and see the Santorini Volcano before i go. This was worth saving for last. So pretty took a boat out to volcano and even got to walk around it. So cool to see something like that up close. Lots and lots of rock. Hot spring was enjoyable tool.

Santorini was the best money I have ever spent and I would recommend everyone to visit at some point. So much history and beautiful views. Just plain amazing. No other words for this trip.

The alarm was set early, and we got dressed and ready for the taxi ride to the Port of Piraeus. The ferry didn't leave until 7:25, but it was recommended that we get there an hour early to get our tickets, board, and get settled in. This was quite a departure (pardon the pun) from our west-coast approach of pulling up to the ferry at the last minute, but we thought we should go along with the local customs and get ...

... that cliff! The bartender happened to be an American woman who had been living in Santorini for the past 20 years. She was even an alum of UCSB (much to Casey’s delight…go Gauchos!). She made a fresh-squeezed drink for Casey and Dan enjoyed a beer while we partook in the magnificent views from the balcony. It was here that we contemplated buying a B&B and writing postcards back home to send the dogs. While we would have been perfectly content to stay ...
