... gelukkig het slechte weer achter ons gelaten en het is heerlijk wandelen in het zonnetje tussen de ruïnes. Ook het museum is erg mooi. Alle twee zeker een bezoek waard.


We nemen de trein van 13u terug. Het meisje in Katakolon had vanochtend de vertrektijden opgeschreven en volgens haar zou de trein om 13u08 vertrekken. Gelukkig zijn we goed op tijd want iets voor 13u komt de trein het station binnen gereden en om 13u06 zijn we al weg. ...

... Captain knew that we would be docking about 2.00 so we decided we would wait and just walk off the ship as we knew that, unless we were travelling inland, there was basically only one main street of shops so we knew we could do that at our leisure).

For the past 3 days we have been staying in Katakolon. This is the closest port to Olympia and we stopped to spend a day soaking in some ancient history. We pulled up on the town quay/marina and for the princely sum of $10euro a night had electricity, water and amenities.

... gestures, constant moving about in her seat and erratic mood swings. Bless her, she went straight into the sea before I had even time to turn off the engine, I am sure I saw steam coming off her body when she immersed herself in the sea. Which as it turns out was really warm, I did laugh to myself.
