    North of Olympia we find Clermont (Chelmoutsi) Castle, built in 1223 by a French Prince Geoffrey, after the Crusades when he claimed the region for himself.     went to Archaeological site. Saw temple of Hera. Zeus. Athlete training grounds and athlete hangout. Visited stadium where first Olympic Games took place. Stood on marble start line and took off to race. Soaked up the spirit of the Olympic champions.

    Tuesday evening, at sea. We decided to have dinner this evening in the Indian specialty restaurant "Corriander". There are several Indian chefs on board, and the menu promised a selection of Indian specialties. They certainly delivered.     ... pier even as the crew were trying to stow the gangway! And two buses returned fifteen minutes late! But the ship still left on time, after a little horn blowing duet with the other cruise ship about to sail!

    And after dinner the full moon came out. A dainty little electrical storm danced over the Peloponnese peninsula hills to entertain us, as we sat out in the warm evening on the deck, and caught up with Trish and Rex's day.
