... happy all round (lots of tears). The mother lived near Kat in Poole but the daughter France and father Perth, Australia! All seemed such nice people. The mother seemed to have suffered over it quite a lot but the girl had wonderful adoptive parents and had been very happy. She was the great neice of Wilfred Owen the WWI poet who died a week before armistice and it showed her and her children visiting his grave.
... was entertained by the Headliners a very talented group who did a show of song and dance from the movies. They have a lot of energy and will no doubt enthral us again. After a night cap in The Lord Taverners Bar we headed to bed. The weather ahead is not good and we have been told we will have a gale or two to endure...
