Cashmere home of the druggies and alcoholics. It's a small town where everyone, and I mean everyone, knew your business. Lived there for 10 years and I still don't miss that place. Maybe family, but I hardly talk to my old friends there. They are busy living their life.

In this town it was here where I watch Tim (the gaint) throw my worthless and unfortunately my father off our porch in order for my mom, brothers, and myself to leave.

Did I tell you this is apple country? Apples a plenty!! We follow a sign when leaving the candy shop in Cashmere that led us to the Washington Apple country Tasting Room. Apple Cider samples consist of locally grown pressed apples.(granny smith and delicious apple blend) Other fruit such such as cherry, boysenberry,apricots and raspberries are added to the original blend for added flavors. Up early again, cleaned up a bit from the night before and took back the borrowed wine glasses to the main lodge. Admired their views. Fixed a light lunch and then went for a 5-mile hike up Icicle Road. The log cabins along the river there were quite amazing, but they all appeared to be either strictly weekend or summer places.

Beyond all belief, we ran out of food! So I managed to eek out three tuna salad sandwiches which were gobbled up in a hurry, and we finished the evening (6 hours later) telling stories around the fire. It was so much fun and we're really glad we extended the invitation.
