... Swung past our hotel room to pick up some dirty clothes and headed to the laundromat. While our clothes were washing we hit the Aldi to pick up some supplies. With all our chores done, we headed back to the car to find we had a parking ticket. Bugger. Will have to figure out who we have to pay €25 to in the morning... So now that we had a white envelope on our windscreen in a parking spot very central, convenient location, we decided to ...

... Mon - A German Gorge and an Austrian Gorge. We arrived in the German town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This town was founded by uniting the two towns of Garmisch and Partenkirchen by a decree of Adolf Hitler to bring the 1936 Winter Olympics to Germany. The International Olympic Committee was going to pass over Germany as the host, because there were not enough hotel rooms in the host town, so Hitler forced the unification of Garmisch and Partenkirchen ...

... lynx, wolf, brown bear and beaver. My favourite was the lynx! Yesterday we took a bus trip to a nearby town called Wattens. Kate's grandfather used to live and work in this town so she was trying to track down some of his friends or relatives of his friends. Working with some handwritten names and addresses we did some investigating, we found some people that knew the people that we were looking for, but did not actually find the people. Does that make sense? Also in ...
