      ... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also.       ... in Zell am See, since we hadn't really seen much of the city yet. It's on the edge of a lake, the Zeller See. And we hadn't eaten lunch.. So we walked down to the lakeshore and found a nice bench to eat our sandwiches. Then we rented an electric boat and went all the way around the lake. The views were beautiful and it was incredibly relaxing.

      ... we thought about taking a funicular down to the valley floor. But it was kind of expensive, and the views were still not that great. So we decided to just leave. That was our last stop on the road, so we headed back toward Zell am See, stopping at a couple places where the views hadn't been that great in the morning sun.
