So the first leg of the trip is winding down, tomorrow we have the day in Denmark and then board the ferry from Hirtshalls and set sail to Bergen, Norway. The trip so far has been amazing, a few days in Copenhagen, which was great and then some time in northern Denmark visiting sights and tracing Angie's family history. Tuesday was probably the best day yet of vacation and it really covers the reason where are here, for Angie to see for the first time where her family came from. I have a greater appreciation for my family history and the fact that I have not only been to where my grandparents where born, I also had the amazing experience of walking with my grandfather on the farm he grew up on. ...

... pools, as well as an outdoor one for seals. A very pleasant afternoon! We had an early dinner in a pub down by the waterfront, the drove back through some rain to the hotel. The next day we visited Aarlborg, which had a large Viking burial ground, with a museum nearby. After that, we had a quick visit to the Utzon Center in town, just for a moments nostalgia about the Opera House, then a drive back along some lakes. A pretty big day all round.
