Arriving in Hirtshals we had to walk about 2km from the train station to the ferry terminal, a little bit of a trudge with a big backpack and the wind of the North Sea blowing in your face, but we made it. Once on board our ship, MS Stavangerfjord we found our little cabin before heading off to explore the ship. Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. During the summer it is also a tourist town. Very quaint houses - likely many are vacation rentals. Then we headed back south to Aalborg where we will stay overnight before taking the ferry to Sweden tomorrow ...
