En guise de magasins de biére nous avons atterri au paradis des pêcheurs GéGé nous n'avons photographié seulement que quelques centaines de leurres sur les 5000 en magasin et on ne parlera pas des 10000 cannes à pêche et autres waders...

We have dry feet again. After a four hour trip across Skagerrak, we have finally "terra firma" under our feet. Getting ready for a 9 hour drive to the Netherlands now. We'll see whether we have a sleep over on the way, or whether I am going to push it for a straight drive through.

... s parents took us back to there in Hjorring further north than Aalborg. I was very please to find I had a bed to sleep on being the first real bed I had had since leaving the UK. The next day Trine borrowed her parents car showed me the local sights including Skagen the northen most part of Denmark where two sea's meet. I tryed to escape but the tide brought me back

Didn't do much. Meet Trine a friend who I had meet last time traveling in Death Valley in the States. Her friends came round and wanted to show me what Denamrk is about. So we did what Danes do best we drank and drank and then drank some more.Then once we couldn't ...

... out that because of this i bruised a bone in my right foot which has been very painful even a week later. We were so hungry by this time and we stoped at a steakhouse where we splurged abit and had a great meal. on friday it was time to go to the airport and i must admit i was a little disapointed when i got downstairs to find out my taxi wasnt a mercedes-benz but a BMW 540 with leather seats and sunroof...i really got a raw deal... anyways off to England!

... because there wasn´t another boat going to where we wanted to go for 2 or so hours and our time was limited so we took a different boat across the river and trekked back to where we were staying. To make things worse the Aqua Museum that we wanted to check out was almost all the way back from where we started trekking but on the other side of the river so we spent another hour trekking back to it ... thankfully it was worth the effort and we saw some otters mucking about, a beavers ...

... Sunset boulevard, a Subway-like eatery. 2 sandwiches, 1 fries and a coke cost 75DKK. After lunch, we hurried back to the coach. The journey to Aalborg was uneventful. Denmark's rural landscape was flat and they have a lot of windmills. These windmills are used to generate electricity and I think it generates about 10% of the country need. ... on the beach overlooking a beautiful fading sunset. Had planned to catch the ferry from here to Oslo tomorrow but instead I have decided to head to Gothenburg and across Sweden to see my girlfriend Anna, who left London a month ago to go back to Uni.
