... Those boys had to sit in a little vet's office with me and all the dogs and cats and owners for at least an hour. No complaints whatsoever! I can't recall the order that we did everything the rest of the week but we had fun! We hiked by the lake with Lola, explored Old Gladewater, read books, went antiquing, toured the museum, and went for a swim at Grandma's house! I must have worn them out because they were cranky at the end of the day.

After driving another long day, 9 hours, we arrived in Kilgore, Texas about 5:30. The drive along I-10 through Louisiana was pretty. There were long bridges over wide expanses of water.
