We arrived in Gladewater, late as usual, but Rita (my lovely sister) had delicious lasagna waiting for us. Neil (Rita's husband), Rita, and their boys, Riley, and Blake all waited up for us to arrive. It was nice to have such a great welcome party. Poor Neil and I made quite the pair during our time in East Texas, as he injured his ankle the weekend before. He was hobbling around and soaking his foot in ice water pretty frequently.

Along I-49, we rain in to some pretty serious storms with lots of lightening and strong winds. It was time to put both hands on the steering wheel for Nick and Stan. But we got through it and the smeared bugs on the windshield were washed away by the rain and wipers.

After dinner at church we are back and in our chairs with our feet up. Now if the step controller is delivered tomorrow and solves the last problem, we are ready to head for Colorado on the 27th. Today I tackle the step problem and figure out it's the computer control module for the steps. A new one is ordered and the old one removed. The steps are now up until the new board is attached.
