We set of on a day long trip into the Czech countryside today with our guide Jan. Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO listed town south from Prague and near the border with Austria. Apparently the border shifted periodically and when the town finally ended up on the Czech side the word Cesky was added to its name as that means Czech.

... there was a replica. While this might be because the originals are being protected, it seemed to me that they were more likely misplaced or in poor condition. There were too many sections of the castle that had weapons, torture devices, or jewels, that were clearly made in the last 20 years. The actual artifacts were there, but most of them were in display cases in an corner somewhere.
