... ve seen in movies like Inception, that shiny lima bean that is the most photographed thing in Chicago. Millennium Park too, would be the start of our crazy test of patience in Chicago as all the crowds were out for what turned out to be one of the biggest weekends of travel. Plans change and people can affect your trip, the only thing to do is shrug and adapt.

Our original plan for the day had called for a trip to the Bean first, which probably would've resulted ...

... about 15 pages and it actually had adverts in it! I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was awesome but again, I didn't want to think about any food ever again. We headed into downtown Chicago by train, walking into the Millennium Park area.
There we watched the kids playing in the Crown fountain, the massive face on the side of the waterfall was interactive. So much so, that the face would spurt water at the kids playing.

We played and took photos of the giant metal bean, quite fascinating. (makes the Adelaide Malls Balls look small.) The very ...

... and toys are not really his thing. Whilst on Magnificent Mile, we go up to the 94th floor of the Hancock Observatory. It is not as tall as Willis Tower but because it is near the lakeshore, it is meant to have better views. We are not disappointed- the shore line looks amazing! Ask any local where they like to go on a Saturday and chances are it is Navy Pier. At least that is what it felt like when we got there. All the world and its wife ...
