Woke up in a truck stop and made butterfunger flavored vending machine coffee. 3 hours later we arrive in Chicago. Booked a room at the Godfrey hotel, they have this great lemon verbena soap.. but the housekeepers never replaced against my effort to hide the used soap every morning in hopes of acquiring new ones. ... the few that were, we ducked our heads in - souvenir & gift shops, grocery store. This part of Chinatown reminded me of our Chinatown - not busy, and not large. ... me once and Hinesh twice. There was a bratty little boy behind us who on the 15th hole decided to throw a tantrum and cried til the 18th hole. I felt sorry for his parents. We tally up our scores and Hinesh kicks my ass by 10 shots.

After our epic 24 hour train journey we finally arrived in Chi-ca-geeeeee! We then had to grab another train out of the city to Erin & Kathy's house in Naperville. We arrived to the best welcome ever, including a cute little note telling us to make ourselves at home!
