      ... past a hairdressers with two young guy hairdressers doing girls hair, so I asked if they could give me a shampoo and cut. Lots of hand actions as they had no English. It's 10 weeks since I had a haircut in Florence!

      ... pine trees and David said it could have been New Zealand! We looked down into a valley with hillsides of terracing. The roads were windy and steep but in good condition. We reached the top of the range and descended to the coast where the temperature was a sunny 19 degrees. We went from having the bus heating on, to air conditioning!

      ... but if Turkey is on your places to visit list then make sure you coincide it with the Anzac Day dawn service, it will be one you never forget. Lest we forget.
