    We then drove to Perge, an ancient Greek city founded in approximately 1000 BC. It came to fame during the Roman rule and was one of the leading centers of Christianity. The Apostle Paul mentions it several times in his writings. The ruins show what must have been a fabulous city, complete with hot and cold baths, a sewer system, and a series of sales stalls.

For tonight, we dropped off our luggage (we love our hotel) and walked down to a recommended sea food restaurant.     ... people made and the pots they created from clay are fantastic, and to think that we walked on the same ground as these people is quite awesome. The statues were very detailed down to the folds and patterns in tunics worn by the emperor.
