... have given us where ever we have travelled in this amazing country. We both feel very privileged to have travelled to amazing temples, pyramids and tombs and learned all about life in ancient Egypt. We suspect that Australians are thought of very highly here in Egypt and we felt like we received special treatment everywhere we stayed because of it. Egypt could certainly do with more visitors from western countries as we ...

Today turned out to be a lay day as Tish awoke early with an upset tummy. By late morning, she was feeling much better and we made our way down to the resort beach and had a swim with the local resort dolphin. It was the perfect time of day to to a view an impressive diversity of fish ...

145km today. Packing camp up was insane, and really really need to reorganize things. After forcing down a pb pita, Dave and I headed out. It was cold! Lesson learnt - don't pack up and head out asap, you get warm packing only to freeze. Also, dumb me, I should put my windbreaker under my layers, some protection. The jacket is not to nice fitting with the extra 9lbs of stress weight and 2 shirts. I froze! by time we got ...

... of starting at the front and gradually being overtaken means that I get to say Hi etc with lots of different people.

Time for bed now - it's all of 7.15pm but can't stop yawning. The good news is that because we did the extra km's tonight, only 88 koto go tomorrow. Camping by the Red Sea on the beach that belongs to a hotel - TDA take 3 rooms or so - the purpose being for usual to use the showers. Some people will no doubt stay in the ...
