Not directly in city center, but the bus stops right in front of the hotel. We had reasonable rates, for one night's stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had the double room, and one room was very small, but the other was average, at least. The bathrooms were small, but worked properly, so how much space do you need? The hotel was very clean. We had the breakfast and thought it was 8 euros per person well spent. We would stay here again.

A good bit of rain on the highway diminished the view of the mountains along the way. We walked to dinner at an Italian place a couple of blocks from the hotel after re-stocking our wallets at the …

We do have a Mozart Concert and Dinner at Stiftskeller in Salzburg tomorrow night from 6pm so hopefully Narelle will be okay to go. The temperature is predicted to be -2 in the morning but we are hoping the weather ...

... and then went to bed. At 2pm I went and asked the concierge about the best way to get to the Szechenyl baths. I explained that we had purchased tickets on board the boat and that Narelle would not be able to go. The concierge contacted the baths and was able to secure a refund for Narelle. The hotel also prepared a spa kit containing a towel, slippers, water and shampoo in a back pack. I have been ...

Salzburg was a good day. It is the city of The sounds of music! But besides that I found that there was not that much to see in the city so I went up the mountain and skied for the day! There was 5 of us and it was really good! Glad I didn't say down though ...
