Not directly in city center, but the bus stops right in front of the hotel. We had reasonable rates, for one night's stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had the double room, and one room was very small, but the other was average, at least. The bathrooms were small, but worked properly, so how much space do you need? The hotel was very clean. We had the breakfast and thought it was 8 euros per person well spent. We would stay here again.

We took a trip to Salzburg while the girls were here over Christmas Vacation. It was a first visit for all of us and a place we would be very happy to visit again. Venice is literally a floating city and because of this navigation is very tricky at times. You all know how directionally challenged I am and Venice tested me to the extreme. The ...
With an early start from Munich, we boarded a train to Salzburg, Austria. Although it was drizzling, we were able to make the most of the day and explore this beautiful city. With the train station being a few miles from the heart of the city, we were able to stroll along the Salzach River and explore many of the local vendors along the river.
The walkway along the river brought us directly to the Old Town (Alstadt). The main street (Getreidgasse) held many different shops ...
... a tip but forgot our back pack which holds our clothes and camera, etc. We stopped at an outdoor market, bought some meat and cheese...Glenn didn't realize he forgot the backpack until we were walking through the gardens on our way back to the hotel.
Supper-ing on our newly bought meat and cheese...soon to find out that we went way over board in ...
