      ... too bad it was pouring rain). Once inside we waited for our tour to begin.

      The tour takes you through the the finished rooms. As Ludwig was "enamoured" with Louis XIV of France, the palace is a mini "Versailles". There is extensive use of Gold Leaf throughout the finished rooms.
