Historical Traveler Reviews of Turks And Caicos Club Providenciales

Great, Quiet Property

from A TripAdvisor Member
My wife and I just returned from an 8-nights "1st Anniversary" vacation (10/18/03-10/26/03) at the Turks & Caicos Club on Provo. If you are looking for peace and quiet during your stay, this is the place! And, if you enjoy and expect great personal service, this true hotel (vs condo properties that line this island) is your ticket! Everyone at the T&C Club make it a point to pamper you while there, particularly Lorna at the reception desk. This hotel is on a quiet stretch of Grace Bay, and the oceanfront suites have a magnificant view. Plus, the kitchens in each suite rival those at home!

The Simba restaurant is wonderful, with the best food and presentation on the island - hands down - and we tried out a lot of places to dine!

Mary Pierre of Simba and her staff are great.

So, if small and intimate hotels are your desire, this is probably the finest on Provo, in our opinion. Just a short walk up Grace Bay Beach to see other properties will convince you that you have made the right choice by staying at the Turks & Caicos Club!

Beautiful Place for Our Honeymoon

Thanks for making our honeymoon so special. What started out as a rough start with our luggage being lost by the airline, then our rental car got a flat on the way from the airport, the hotel quickly set up our spa appointments in our suite so that we were no sooner laying on massage tables quickly forgetting the tough trip to the islands. A few hours later after we soaked on the incredible white sand beach, we went back to our room to find our luggage waiting for us. (Fortunately we carried our swim suits with us since we had read about the airlines before.) Overall, it was a really memorable honeymoon, and hopefully it will be a metaphor for our marriage not to let bumps in the road in the way of a romantic experience.

Nice and Quiet. Great R & R

We had a very nice time at the Turks & Caicos Club. Perfect place to get away for a week and the beach is gorgeous, the whitest sand I have ever seen. Not a lot to do and just the way we liked it! Great little Caribbean getaway hotel if you want nice accommodations and little fuss.

Fabulous new hotel!

It's like an oasis has appeared on Provo. We have traveled to Provo for many years on our own and then with our kids and have stayed at all the nice hotels like point Grace and grace bay club. The Turks & Caicos Club is such a welcoming luxury hotel (nothing stuff about it) and perfect for those wanting the beauty, the terrific staff (Lorna and Alvado to name a few) and a great place for the kids to have fun too (our are ages 5 and 8). It's not a kids place, but it's nice to see a luxury hotel that welcomes families too. Wonderful addition to Provo! We'll be back to this hotel.

Almost a 5, but...

from lovethebeachbaby
We had a wonderful stay at the Turks and Caicos Club- a beautiful, small hotel on a quiet stretch of Grace Bay Beach. The rooms are large and immaculate, with huge terraces overlooking the beach. The staff is genuine, friendly, and helpful. It's one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen, and most of the time we had the beach completely to ourselves. So why not a 5? A couple of reasons. The hotel is not close to anything, so if you want to go anywhere on the island to eat besides Simba (which is delicious, but one of the most expensive restaurants on the island), you'll have to take a cab, which will cost $20 r/t on average. Reception, which is supposed to be on duty from 6 am- 11 pm, was rarely open past 7 pm (with only 3 rooms occupied the weekend we were there, there probably wasn't much to do, but still, at $500/night, you should be able to reach the hotel staff in the evenings). Also, a continental breakfast is included in the room rate, but it's pretty lame- fruit that didn't look too appetizing, yogurt, and mini boxes of cereal. (We skipped it after the first day and made use of the blender in our fully equipped kitchen to make smoothies.)These are the little details that keep me from giving it a 5, but really it's a wonderful place and we would return. If you go, don't miss Cuba Bella for lunch or dinner, and take a ride with Kenway on the Hobie Cat at the hotel!

Perfect Honeymoon -- Elegant and First Rate!

from A TripAdvisor Member
The new Turks & Caicos Club was just a dream for our honeymoon. Everything about this hotel was first rate, from the service to the overall elegant atmosphere. With Provo being so built up, it's nice to know that you can still find luxury like this on a quiet part of Grace Bay Beach. Some days, we were the only people on the beach. What a dream for those of us trying to have a little romance and r & r. The restaurant called "Simba" was a delight. The food was phenomenal. The Chef prepared a special candelit dinner under the gazebo and created a special menu just for my husband and I. The catering was endless. We'll definitely return to celebrate future anniversaries.

Turks and Caicos Club was wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the Turks and Caicos Club. We had stayed at Point Grace on a previous trip and decided to try something new. We were very pleased with our decision and plan on returning. We felt right at home. Welcoming staff and just an overall wonderful place!

We Felt So Spoiled at the New Turks & Caicos Club!

from A TripAdvisor Member
What a great find for us. We had a one bedroom suite on Grace Bay Beach. The reef was right next door, but we didn't have to put up with the crowds like the hotel in front of the reef. Definitely worth it. Excellent restaurant called Simba on the property, too.

A Beautiful Hotel!

from seasandsurf
We really enjoyed the Turks and Caicos Club. The service was premiere, the rooms beautiful and the dining at Simba exceptional. The hotel is on a nice part of the beach, too. Away from the crowds of the other hotels.

Loved Turks and Caicos Club

from A TripAdvisor Member
My husband and I just got back from the Turks and Caicos club. We had a fantastic time. The staff was wonderful. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We had the beach to ourselves. The restaurant was great. Gourmet food in the Carribean! I can't think of anything negative to say about it except perhaps there were a few minor things that were not totally completed because the hotel is so new. The health club was not the greatest. I would strongy recommend going there! My husband and I are looking forward to returning next year.
