    ... to Spas, Sauna's and Hamam's (A Turkish bath), also the Titanic Hotel had their own section of the beach, the hotel also had their own little shops, Night clubs, bars etc etc, all of them free, the list went on and on.     ... of Chapmans Peak Drive except this was 200 km long!!The excellent road twisted and turned, hugging the coast around hairpin bends,with this aquamarine water always in sight. We got off the bus in Kas, this very cute seaside town. We walked down to the harbour and found a bench where we could enjoy an ice cold beer and our gourmet sarmies which we had made in Fethiye!!!     Well we finally swam in the Mediterranean. The water is very clear, temperature was perfect, calm sea...no waves, but I needed my sandals to cope with the very pebbly shore! Did I know there wouldn't be much sand? We are spoilt! Yesterday we walked to the Chimaera...up a mountainside to where fire still burns from crevices in the rocks, it was recommended we visit at night to get the full effect. Thankfully we walked up in daylight and back in the early evening ...

    ... had easy access to the beach! Seeing the natural flames in Chimaera was amazing, it was a hike up the hill and it was a bit scary going down! The flames have been going for years and the natural gas under the surface let them burn bright. Funny to see some Asian tourists try and blow them out, however they didn't succeed! We stopped off at the third longest cave in Turkey, very similar to the Jenolan caves in OZ but less crowded and absolutely breath ...
