We arrived into Nice late on Wednesday night and moved very quickly from the train station to the hotel.

Thursday was spent exploring Nice in the morning, then on the train to Monte Carlo - Monaco, where we had lunch at the port with Tamara and Stuart. Dinner that evening was back in Nice - where snails were on the menu!!

Monte Carlo- Monaco

Another beautiful morning, sun is shining and we get to the top of the ship to see land. We have arrived at the port of Monaco and it is flash as!

Monaco is a beautiful port full of very expensive yachts. Apparently the prince of Saudi Arabia currently has his yacht at the port for a small fee of about $4000 a night in docking fees. Apparently Monaco has some crazy tax system that if you live here more than 6 weeks of the year you ...

... and watched all the dresses and tuxedos walk around the city.  We have arrived in a city just outside of Nice called Cagnes. It is a very nice camp site called Val Fleuri. We drove into a small historical and art-inspired town called Vence. We had a nice lunch on a cobblestone walkway just a few feet from a column that was built in 230 AD.  Tomorrow we return our rental car in Nice where we'll stay for the night then we fly to Palermo where our Italian journey will ...
