What an incredible way to start the day! We were up at 4:30 a.m. and Royal Balloons picked us up at 5:00 a.m., after which we picked up six others who were from India and were great fun. ... stark white all sculpted in to the strangest shapes. Many of the cliffs and cone like shapes have been carved out and used as dwellings over the years.....which is why cave hotels are so popular here.
Hiking through these canyons was thrilling and extremely hot. Inside the caves the opposite is true. This is not a place you would hike without water, sunscreen and a good hat!
