She then advised us that the next boat to leave would be the 9 a.m. one and she would contact the captain of that ferry to find out where he was going to dock the boat. ... arrival we are disappointed to see our ferry has been cancelled. Nooooooo! There are only two ferries a day and the next one doesn't leave until 6pm. We have nowhere to stay in this dirty port town and debate what we should do next. We could go back to Alona beach, but it would just mean doing this all over again when we need to return to Cebu. ... as we rode i really could see the desire to stay so far from the pollution, grime and crime of Cebu. We met my friends cousins of which i had to use all my fingers, toes and hair folical's to count and failed miserably, it was as if she knew the entire mountain !!! We parked the X, and continued on foot to meet more of the extended family, grandma, whom was a lady of few words and the other cousins ! Just one house hold was more than my entire family ! ...
