... Cenote pretty early to beat the crowds and were glad to have built up a sweat on the 4km bike ride because the water was a bit colder than the sea. It was really cool snorkeling the cenotes which are natural pits or sink-holes resulting from the collapse of limestone that exposes bedrock underneath. We were glad we beat the rush because it felt like we were the only ones in the water. When we left it was quite crowded, so we felt we got the best view earlier in the day. ...

Back to our cabana for last night, the wind generators are going, thank god as out of the breeze the humidity really hits us. we had a fun walk back as forgot the little torch so missing the potholes and headlights coming our way was fun, just a few margaritas added to the night. Our cabana is on the beach we are about 10 metres back from the front, trees shade out cabana, a hammock out the front and outside showers ...
