We had to climb over a bunch of walls, crawl through water and mud tubes, make our way through this quick-sand like mud stretch that was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, went down a slide into iced-cold water, balance on these small seems while balls were being thrown at you (wipe out style), run up a high wall, crawl in between tires, and finally climb Heartbreak Hill. ... the peak of the tourist season! To kiss the stone, you have to lay on your back, grasp the bars above your head, and lean over - essentially hanging upside down. There is a senior citizen holding onto you while you do this. I'm not going to lie: it was a little nerve-wracking, but I'm glad I did it! (Side note: we did notice a few women with babies outside Blarney Castle, but we didn't notice any of the babies dangling them by their feet to kiss the stone. We were watching ...

Our luck has run out, ha ha. The heavens have opened and we are soaked! Jess bought some rubber boots back in Kilkenny to take with her through the UK, and was starting to regret carrying the extra weight around because she had only used them once. But, they were definitely worth their keep today. She was the only one with dry feet when we got back on the bus from the Cliffs of Moher.
