A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.
The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.
Then dinner at Chinese Restaurant Wo Hing in Assen.
An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.

Arrived on time and bought a Dutch sim card for my phone. I'll be here for a while and lots of people to contact and it will be handy for transport apps to have a bit of data too. Then off to get a transport card for travelling on the trains and maybe buses too.
I found the right train with one change at Zwolle and then Rosa met me at Groningen train station.
