    ... my grandma over the last decade. They have looked after her like family and we don't know what we would have done without them. They always have delicious feasts that they invite us to. They are a Turkish/German family so they have shown us all of their Turkish cuisine, like Turkish coffee, tea and breakfast dinner.     ... German sausages, patties, and other delights which were washed down with some cold beer (by Nathan) followed by a round or two of schnapps for all the adults. Traci is adamant that she had been given rocket fuel and can not understand how anyone could enjoy it.

    Tomorrow we plan on visiting Bergin-Belsen, the concentration camp where Anne Frank died. This will be our first concentration camp we have visited and are anticipating it will be a moving experience.

    ... Being inland it is obviously a lake, but very big. Its a public holiday in Germany today and lots of people around. When we arrive and finally find parking there appears to be a festival of sorts on. Singing and stalls and heaps of people. Its cold and very windy, and just holding of raining.     ... having driven lots in Europe was easy. I forgot how crazy the big motor ways are, and unlike France which has a speed limit of 130km, Germany seems to have an open speed limit on these roads.
