A last few hours swimming and packing then we got a taxi to the Denang airport. Denang is the 3 rd largest city in Vietnam and only half an hour from Hoi An. Loads of Chinese come to Danang to the casinos and beach resorts. We flew from Danang to Buon Ma Thout ( we still can't pronounce it ) where we were met by Mr Bin in an ancient Russian jeep, complete with a driver/security man, to take us on a 200km journey ...

the bus ride from hell. Mr Cheung from our Easy Rider tour had contacted his friend in Lak Lake for us to stay at his guesthouse. When we got to Lak Lake the guy on the bus had contacted someone to come and pick us up and they met us and took us to our guesthouse/long house. It was a really beautiful setting, a lake in the front and really nice traditional long ...

... m hungry."

The air was still crisp, and my Saigon adjusted body was shivering like it was below freezing. It really was probably only just below sixty. I changed as quickly as possible, as one can do, under a blanket. We made sure we had all of our belongings packed into our small backpacks, put on our shoes and stepped outside to find elephants were walking past our hut. I sat back down on the steps to watch them take their ...
