... soooooo bubbly and friendly and want your name and call me beautiful and giggle. Funny but nice to have some happy staff for once! Shower and get all the road dirt off me I felt gross! I think he was slightly shocked to see my bags (well, I had a suit inside the big backpack), but after 15 minutes everything was securely stored behind my seat (with the added bonus of having a backrest), and I got my helmet (a full helmet - which was handy as I managed to loose my second pair of sunglasses in Dalat). We had a quick chat what was planned for today, and off we were.
We didn't stop anywhere in Dalat as I saw most of it what was on the initial itinerary ...

... also was my interpreter. These elephants with two or three passengers aboard, meander down the main thoroughfare dropping balls of dung the size of melons. Sugar cane looked to be their main treat, providing plenty of fibre as well as energy. Used for their enormous strength to extract logs from forests in several Asian countries, they are exceedingly nonchalant about carrying a few humans!

A last few hours swimming and packing then we got a taxi to the Denang airport. Denang is the 3 rd largest city in Vietnam and only half an hour from Hoi An. Loads of Chinese come to Danang to the casinos and beach resorts. We flew from Danang to Buon Ma Thout ( we still can't pronounce it ) where we were met by Mr Bin in an ancient Russian jeep, complete with a driver/security man, to take us on a 200km journey ...
