    Yes, nattou ice cream. Maybe you've heard of nattou before? It's fermented beans, very popular with a raw egg. I'm not a fan of it, but the first time I tried it, I excepted it to taste worse. Tonight we had nattou icecream which is basically any flavor of ice cream with a bit of nattou. Then mix well and you're done! It's actually nice as the beans have a special texture and the 'fermented/not very nice' taste is actually not present at all ...

    Usually when I take Kanta (the dog) for a walk I go the same route. Following the road behind the guesthouse untill you reach the pound. Then you turn right and left again and from then on you follow the path into the woods.     This northern seaside city is surrounded by mountains and is dotted with temples, shrines, museums and markets that show a bit more slow and quiet Japanese lifestyle.
