... crow castle' for its unusual black facade was very aesthetically pleasing. The same can be said for the gardens which has big wide open spaces and all the features of a traditional Japanese garden. After visiting Okayama, I headed on to Hiroshima on the slowest bullet train ever( nearly 2 hours for a 40 minute journey because of 20 minute stops at every station on the way!) ... to the market where I had planned to go. But then I found a way which headed towards the greenhouse for roses. Very high roseplants, still blooming. Next time I will bring my camera and take pictures every day to see them change and become (even more) beautiful. At some point near the greenhouse you can't see the road for cars and other houses, so you'te completely surrounded by woods and fields, it feels so nice then. ...

      Okayama

A travel blog entry by sazuni on Jul 25, 2014

My first day off! (Every week I have one day off, but it doesn't have to be in each week necessarliy, you can combine two days for example and go to a far away city if you want to)
I went together with a Spanish girl, we got a ride to Okayama but we had actually chosen a wrong day to go :/ Because it was very, very hot. Even on the radio they told people to stay inside because of the heatwave. But we still went. First we went to the Okayama Castle which is next to the Korakuen. ...
