... work and feels a little frustrating right now. I was looking forward to working on bigger things. I know, however, that "the devil is in the details" and that building a solid foundation will allow for a higher level of flying than I would reach without it. Thankfully I have been making the changes with relative ease and am currently working on committing them to muscle memory. First walk, then run and then fly, really high!

... nice beef with broccoli (with the help of one of the aforementioned sauces). This gave me a great deal of confidence and so last night I cooked for the family. We had fried chicken with sauteed veggies (again, with the help of one of the sauces). While it won't go down in history the best meal I've ever cooked, everyone was happy and well fed. Success! Now....back to experimenting. I need to come up with a different dish for my next cooking session!

So....after two days in Japan I'm starting to settle in...at least a little. We've had two practices. Dress rehearsal is tomorrow. Shows start on Saturday. Our schedule has us in this city through the middle of April. Until I'm acclimated, my part in the performances is going to be limited to one trick...which is just fine with me. It's a lot to take in and I'd rather do less and do it well than more and do it poorly. ...

Getting spoiled with all these ME days but I think it has helped with my general health. I am at the best I have been in 2 and half years and nearly 1 year (August 2) since brain surgery.
