A few days ago people were winding me up that I only managed to ride my bike a few miles from Interlaken to Grindlewald which can't be more than 30 miles or so. Well if that was a poor show then what they going to say about today when my bike never even moved off its stand!!!

Sunshine and snow in the Alps

Chur and the train trip to Morges
A pretty rugged night sleep but we know that tonight we will be back in Morges in beds that we will sleep well. A few hours to kill so we look around Chur, a lovely place and we note a Gondola - aerial this time - thinking this could be a good thing to do. So off we head. Yes, I know, I shouldn't pick up hitchhikers, but it was fine, and they were two lovely girls, one french and one polish who had been hitch hiking around france, switzerland and austria for 2 months! Davos
... commercial breaks that drag out a 60 minute game to 180 minutes. Since the Swiss play with slightly different (and better in my opinion) rules, there was no fighting and no commercial breaks! And the game is much faster paced and we could see it as the NHL players were lagging behind in some plays. Unfortunately Davos lost 4-0 but it was a really entertaining game.
