Ausserbinn, Switzerland lesterenanne... of a barn. I would have given anything to have set that up for her in advance (notice I said 'for her') and seen the look on her face. Something tells me that might dim her ardor for barns from then on.

We toured/'walked around Gimmelwald for the requisite 15-20 minutes, took in all its sights, and continued our descent into Interlaken, where we had dinner, took in some Cow Zen, had a nightcap and hit the hay- although not literally.
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland trockie... than we did. We got train tickets to go up to Grindelwald where we were going to go hiking from. Before we went up there though, we had to find a tourist information spot because one of my friends really wanted to go zorbing while we were there. Our study abroad program has a list of dangerous things that we arent allowed to do (hitchhike, ride in private planes, ride motorcycles, bungee jump, etc) so my friend had found the only thing in ...
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland chelseyineurope... heard about, and when we found it, we were given free Toberlone (always a good sign) and a friendly Australian lady helped us out. We loveeee this place. Next on our schedule, we go hiking up in the Alps! We stocked up on some food and we're about to take off for an afternoon of beautiful sights! There are oh-so-many more small happenings and stories for me to tell, but for now, the Alps are calling me. Love from Switzerland!

Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland elizabethleland... did a small but nice hike in the mountains the next day. It’s crazy how you lose your hiking skills really quickly. I felt like i was going to fall over every step I took. All over the valley, we could see para-sailers in the sky, it would have been awesome to try except it the damage was at least $170 each... bummer.

http://picasaweb.google. com/lh/photo/_RXGGfa-cjNcaDADRk_4xA?aut hkey=Gv1sRgCMTOwqr-zZGObA&feat=dire ctlink
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland sofenjon... snowbaoard/ski straight into town following the signs and won't take a competent snowboarder more than about thirty to forty-five minutes. Back at the hotel we enjoyed much beer and food to celebrate our first day, the hotel runs a buy-one-get-one-free beer promotion every day between 17:00 and 18:00 which make it an attractive place to go for pre-dinner beers.
Grindelwald, Swiss Alps, Switzerland magintzSept 7th - travelled down through Metz to our first stop at Grindelwald campsite in the Bernese Oberland, took cycles but although useful in other locations, Grindelwald was far to steep for our cycling abilities. Went hiking on two mountain trails and visited the Glacier Gorge. After three ...
Grindelwald, Switzerland alysonfisa... get soaked trying to get this thing on without making it worse and funnelling the water with the tarpaulin. To be fair by the time I conned Rob to just forget it the heavy rain had past and most of that time the tarpaulin what over the hole to some degree. Worse is that as we failed all the glory us tanned, fit, gorgeous (to be) people, i.e. us, will not be forthcoming. Well that has been Switzerland, Rob has really been taken with it, its beautiful and well worth the visit ...
Interlaken, Switzerland rob.jenn... i heard some girl had all her stuff peed on by a drunk guy obviiously in the wrong room....so yay...ovoiding strange drunk guys! to i slept in as i heard the rain again...then got up and took a boat cruise on the lake to thun...with many luttle town stops on the way. it was pretty...but my plans of shopping in thun ended when i realized it was sunday....grrrr i miss canada and our consumerism!!!so i read some more Bush bashing and took the train beck here. cooked ...
Interlaken, Switzerland shelblog... around £7 for the privlage of having a potatoe peeler and chopper prepare your chips. Other items that seem to cost the world include bread at £1.50 a loaf (not even sliced), lettuce at £1.20 (not even for an iceberg) and various other items, yet beer is for nothing, one bottle of beer 25p and it tastes nice, along with razors being the same price as in England. Another great thing about the Swiss is that they are unable to drive properly, which can ...
