    ... again I hardly passed a single car the whole way.

    On many of the roads in Greece I have seen many little lizards laying on the warm tarred area of the road and have tried my best to avoid them. However today while heading down one of these great passes I noticed a rather larger than normal lizard laying in the road and just had to go back and investigate.

    ... breakfast, friendly owner). There are a couple of restaurants in the village. We had a nice meal (I recommend the famous local giant beans) with beer for €15 and they tried to give us free dessert. We were lucky to find the small church open; it is about a thousand years old and the interior is completely covered in paintings. The tourist office in the village is very helpful.

    ... The salad plate was huge, eating perhaps two thirds of it. Chrome Dome complained at one point on the Albania trip Daniela told him if he was late he would be left behind. He took it as if she meant it! He said it was an issue if people were 20M late. I suggested 5M late was an issue on a group trip.
