There are clearly still very strong feelings on the recent Kosovo/Yugoslav war and the people we've spoken to about it are needles to say very opinionated on the rocky past which Albania has had. Theft in Albania is fairly rife, as it is in any developing country, but if you're careful there's no reason you'll be targeted. In the same sense that ...

... Couldn't imagine myself doing that sometime before..now, even with 1000 people around me, didnt stop it! After that we heard shouting about food again! When we went there, everybody made two circles and hold each other hands, sang together, hummed the same tone, huged and bowed for the earth!
