I now totally understand why it is called a weather forecast because we should only use as guidance like the Gps. As technology improves sometimes we are so easy to reply on it, then when nature shows us the real world maybe it could be a bit late to realize. Well we had another great little sail today, I was planning to fly the spinnaker easy surf west with the predicted north easterly force 3 or 4 so left the ...

Approximately 2000 years ago, in Roman times, the roman army had conquered almost all of Europe, but the part they stopped at was the hills up to the viewing point of the Covadonga lakes, since they couldn’t get up the hills, but they did conquer the nearby town of Cangas de Onis, and one of the things they built which is still standing today is a bridge, known as the Roman bridge of Cangas de Onis. As ever, there was a massive cathedral in the centre and lots of small winding, cobbled streets with shops everywhere. This was chorizo and ham country, so there were lots of speciality shops selling all manner of dried meat. Lots of big legs hanging everywhere, which will set you back thousands of Euros for the really good, aged ...

A broken bed and a horrible goodbye

A travel blog entry by ellabright on Jul 27, 2014

Checkout was at 11, so we all got up and took showers. I called Jonathan in the morning and he wasn't really mad anymore, he just strongly considered it to be cheating and said he would break up with me if I did it. So that answered that question. We packed up our stuff and left and
then went to a cafe for breakfast. We were sad to leave the apartment, it would have been nice to have stayed another night and explored the city more but oh well. We got bocadillos and coffee ...
