We stayed here on a Grand Circle tour to Spain. The location was wonderful, near the Royal Palace and 30 minutes walking tot the museum.

First things first; I had my Chicago hot dog at O'Hare on my way to Madrid.   . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .<i> NOTE: It felt like my previous visit to Madrid was several decades ago, but actually it was in November of 1996 (18 years ago).   I'm not sure I can blame this on senility, but I do travel extensively, and I cannot keep …

After a nice flight, decent food, a movie and few hours of sleep we have landed! Luggage arrived but no one to pick us up! After a phone call and a few texts we were told to wait outside! After about 30 minutes we were told to go back inside because there were 9 more people! As we ...

The best thing in travelling is when you can meet old good friends!
I met Raul in 2010 in Kalmar, Sweden, during his exchange year of master program.
We've been climbing together indoor and outdoor in Sweden, and also last time in Spain!
uhuuu lovely to be with you again Raulito:))))

If you had to wear a wetsuit all day long when you walked around, you would be sweaty and gross as ****, just like your foot after wearing a sock. In fact, probably worse, since I know for a fact many people pee in their wetsuits, and it kinda takes a while for whatever is in there to make it's way out. I have never done that of course. But telling ...

    Day 2
Wandering around yesterday was an experience that I will never forget. There are many small markets near my hotel with all kinds of things. Food, clothes, souvenirs, toys, etc. Because there were so many places that I wanted to see, I accidentally got lost. Luckily, some villagers were kind enough to tell me where Gran Melia Fenix was. I was about 50 ...
