We stayed here on a Grand Circle tour to Spain. The location was wonderful, near the Royal Palace and 30 minutes walking tot the museum.

It's now 9:30 PM. It's been a busy day. I walked down to Plaza de Espana after I left the hostel this morning. It wasn't as cold as I feared outside, and it was a beautiful blue sky day. Part of that walk was along the Gran Via, which is a main street here. I found a bank there where I withdrew some money that should tide me over for a week or so. I felt kind of bad - I have no idea what is special about that place, other than that there's a statue ...

Five more bulls are brought out after that ...

... were completely lost in this same location and now we are walking around without a map, confident of where we’re headed." Interesting choice of words as where we were headed (unbeknownst to any of us) was straight through the sex district of Madrid. It was a brief section of the street we had chosen to get us to a popular Tapas bar, El Tigre. Which as everybody knows, is Spanish for The Tigre. (Har-har.) We made it through the prostitutes unscathed and Henry (16) now likely ...
