This is not a casino. Located a little off the Strip next to the Fashion Mall, and so perfect for shopping. It is still close enough to the Strip to be able to go anywhere very easily.

I know everybody is doing it, but $25 for the resort fee, I don't get? Put it on the bill in the beginning. You have to pay it anyway!

Historical Traveler Reviews Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
Very noisy, quite a walk
Before we left we were excited about our stay given the very positive reviews here. We agree that the staff was very service oriented. Our issue was that, ironically given the off strip location, the rooms were very noisy. There are 2-3 trains per night, followed by a constant loop of music from the mall next door, sirens and interstate noise on the other side. The windows are not properly sealed though the hotel is working to fix it. We moved 4 times and finally checked out early moving to THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay which was similar in terms of facilities and was very quiet. In February we stayed at the Wynn which was a smaller room, no kitchen but was very comfortable. In early April we were at the Palazzo which was also very nice and has access to the best restaraunts and location.
The hotel is substantially off the strip. You will need a car ($13 parking per night) and a sober driver or plan to take taxis. We walked home one night down the dark and deserted road from the Wynn. There isn't even a sidewalk for much of the way. I would not recommend it.
The food was mixed. We enjoyed the chicken fingers from room service but found the onion soup and hamburger to be of poor quality. The dinner rolls were so tough I could not bite into it. We let the server know when she asked about dinner but she did not offer to do anything about it. There are much better restaurants than DJT for the money. We were very unimpressed however we felt like we got a relative deal on the wine which was wonderful. The coffee was also exceptional.
The exercise room is adequate. Not quite what you expect for $22 per day. The spa facilities are still in process but was well staffed. Great pedicure and an adequate massage.
The pool is an ordinary rectangle with comfortable lounge chairs. They may add cabanas at the end in the future. It closes at 5pm so plan accordingly.
Overall we found both the Wynn and the Palazzo to be better choices for our next visit. We liked THE Hotel as well but prefer the location farther north. We would not return to the Trump.
This is an amazing hotel- although there is no casino it made no difference- you can go to any o the others and then go back to a nice quite place to sleep- the employees were so attentive- and being driven around in one of the house cars is a great alternative (at night- walking during the day is alot of fun)- the pool is beautiful and the rooms are great too. ONE thing my boyfriend and I didnt like- THE TRAIN- there is a train track at the back of the hotel...about 1km away- comes every few hours through out the night- beeps the loud horn! that was ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!! but other then that. GREAT PLACE! stay there!
Best Service--Hands Down
The Trump LV exceeded my expectations. Specifically, the service was near perfect. The staff was friendly, unpretentious and attentive at every juncture---from check in to check out. This is definitely a great alternative to the smoky and crowded feel of the typical Las Vegas casino hotel. If you want top class hotel service, then this is place to stay!
First Class Service and Amenities
We visited the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, NV April 18-21 and I was blown away by how amazing everything was!!!
First off, we booked the hotel stay directly through the hotel website. I found that this way had the best rates advertised, and the easiest reservations process.
We were able to reserve our weekend stay with a great special. Buy 2 nights, get the third free. Which was awesome because when booking your reservation, 33 percent of the total price was discounted. So instead of Sunday (being the cheapest night) being discounted, we received the 33 percent off, which was a huge savings. Also included in our reservation package was a $25 dollar per night room credit. Which we were told could be used toward any spa service, or food service. Apparently when I went to check out, I was informed that this was not to be used toward room service, which was what we did everyday. I explained that we were told by the front desk that if we wanted to use our credit toward room service we would need to place our order prior to 2am. Thankfully they allowed us to do that, due to the misunderstanding.
From the moment we arrived at the Trump Hotel, everything was spectacular.
The Best thing about this hotel was the Staff and Hotel
* The staff-
They were so courteous, polite, attentive and respectful of all our needs, concerns and wants. I found this especially helpful being my girlfriend and I are 2 young adults from Minnesota. I especially liked that they were able to help us decide on places to see and go. Many people in Vegas will recommend a place or two that they think you should see or visit when all they are doing is "selling you" to go there so they can make money on you like promoters. The Trump staff was not like that in any way. They were honest people and we appreciated that very much. Upon arriving, we were greeted with warm wet towels, and bottles of water. At the hotel, there is a fleet of Cadillac escalades which are available to cater to the high end guests staying at the hotel. Being the hotel recently opened, there were not a lot of guests visiting. This was very nice, because we were able to be driven around by a bellboy in one of the SUVs every night we were there. When leaving a nightclub or casino, all we had to do was call the bell desk and request to be picked up by if a car was a available. Sure enough they said it was no problem, and they picked us up with in 5mins every time.
The Hotel Common Areas and location-
The hotel lobby is very impressive. It is the trump hotel so every detail is Grand! The hallways are very quiet, and clean. The pool area is located on the 7th floor of the building so on a windy day, (like the day we were out there) it can be very windy. The hotel has a spa area, workout/fitness area and they do require you to purchase a pass. When we arrived we were told that this was not necessary and that hotel guests could use the spa facilities at no charge but that was not true, This was a bit disappointing but the spa worker stated that we could use it because we were told that but we didn't. The hotel is located at the top of the Vegas strip. So it is very close to the Wynn, Venetian and the fashion mall. The hotel is a non-gaming, non smoking hotel which I liked very much.
The Hotel Room-
The hotel room we had was the studio suite with the strip view. We reserved the cheapest room which had mountain views but they upgraded us for free to the better view room which was great. We were the first people to stay in our room.
When we entered the room, truffles and water were on our bed, along with a letter greeting and thanking us for our stay.
Each room has a king sized bed and a pull out couch. Me and my friend initially were planning on sleeping separately but decided to share the king bed which was great. It was a sterns and foster pillow top with high threat count sheets. The room also had a small kitchenette. With a 2 burner cook top, a microwave, full kitchen sink with garbage disposal, lots of cabinets full of dishes, cups, eating utensils and cookware. They also had a coffeepot, a large plasma TV, 2 upright clothes closets, a desk area, and night stands. The bathroom had a dual vanity sink, separate Jacuzzi tub and marble tiled shower and a TV built into the mirror in the bathroom.
The room service was delightful. After we ordered our meals, it was no more than 10 minutes and it was at our room. It was the fastest room service I have ever had! The menu was a large array of selections and options. We ordered chicken tenders off the late night menu and we pleasantly surprised by the large portions. For $9 dollars we received 5 breaded full chicken breast fillets and plate of potato wedges. Very delicious.
All around, this hotel was beyond amazing in every way! I would recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting. The best part of all was that this hotel was only $100 dollars more, for the whole 3 day stay than Luxury, which had reports of bedbugs and bad staff. So I now a true believer in paying a little bit more for pure luxury!
Perfect Stay at the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
My husband and I go to Las Vegas about three times a year.
We enjoy staying at very nice hotels. I tend to be fussy about hotel standards as I used to write reviews of hotels.
We stayed at the new Trump Tower for my husbands birthday.
It was really beyond expectations. The service was perfect, very friendly but professional.
We stayed in a corner one bedroom with sunset views as well as north views. Very light. The furnishings were exquisite,
contemporary and elegant . The bathroom was huge. The bed linens (from Italy) were lovely.
We had a spa treatment in the most beautiful spa. Not too huge like the other hotel spas in Las Vegas.
The entire hotel is non smoking which was such a relief for us.
The location is also wonderful, quiet but close to everything.
All in all a most delightful stay. Our new place to stay in Las Vegas.
We highly recommend this hotel.
Outstanding Hotel And Amazing Service
My girlfriend and I stayed at the new Trump Hotel in Las Vegas in April and it was the best hotel experience we both ever had. We have stayed at Four Seasons and Peninsula Hotels world wide and the Trump beats them hands down.
From the moment we pulled into the porte corche, we received nothing but outstanding and friendly service. The Front Desk, F&B, Pool & Spa, and the Valet/Bell Staff were all very professional and responsive to all of our needs.
We loved the location. Very close to The Strip; however it felt a world apart from the craziness that is Las Vegas.
The Lobby, DJT, the Spa, the Pool were beautiful. The feel is very modern with a classic and elegant look. The interior design is similar to what you will find in LA and NYC.
The food was excellent. We had an amazing breakfast at DJT. I recomment the mushroom omelette. Room service was very quick and the food was delicious and hot.
The room was amazing. We stayed in a Studio and it was more than enough room for both of us. The decor of the room was very elegant and plush. You can tell that a lot of money went into designing the room. The bed was extremely comfortable with clean crisp linens.
We both loved the marble bathroom. It contains a huge spa tub with a large glass-enclosed shower.
I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit Las Vegas. We have stayed at many hotels on The Strip and this one is our favorite.
Luxury and great service in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere
My wife and I stayed at the Trump Tower Las Vegas from April 11th to the 14th. We travelled to Las Vegas with another couple who also stayed at Trump and loved it as well.
If you are looking for a Las Vegas gambling and wild experience at your hotel, don't stay at Trump Tower as it is not your typical mega-hotel on the strip which we had plenty of opportunity to experience while we were in Las Vegas. Crowded lobbies, pushy people and loud, smokey casinos are not our idea of a good time.
My wife and I had not been to Vegas before and had said for years that we should go there. We are not gamblers although I did play a little blackjack for some amusement. Given that we are not gamblers, we wanted to go somewhere that would provide nice surroundings and a good pool in a location that is accessible to the entertainment and shows that we wanted to see.
Trump Tower is a non-smoking hotel (not just the rooms, but everywhere - even the bar area). Every other hotel that we visited (Wynn, Treasure Island, Luxor, MGM, Bellagio, etc.) all had a strong odour of cigarettes in their lobbies. Generally, the air was not smokey (due to the high volume of air exchange) but never the less, the places were permeated with cigarette smoke which is less than desireable for non-smokers like ourselves.
It is a little unclear to me but I believe that the hotel only opened for guests on March 31st. There was a ribbon cutting with Donald and Ivanka the week before we were at the hotel but I believe this was after the official opening. I believe that all of the rooms are individually owned and owners then have the option of putting their rooms in the rental pool for hotel guests. I assume that not many of the well-heeled owners have decided to rent their units as the hotel was never busy. I do not think there was a single time when there were more guests in the lobby / reception area than there were staff.
The rooms were extremely well appointed. My work takes me to good hotels all over North America and occassionally internationally. I generally stay at Marriott, Starwood, Fairmont and Hyatt properties but have also stayed at many independent luxury hotels. I have to say that the room at Trump was one of the most luxuriously appointed rooms I have stayed in. Some examples:
- Extremely high quality bed, bedding, pillows & linens
- The nicest bathrobe I've ever seen (wanted to keep it!)
- Sub-zero bar fridge, Wolf cooktop / warming plate,
- Marble and glass door shower (room for two) and countertops
- in-mirror television in the bathroom
- Huge jetted tub, top-end faucets and hardware
- Nightly turn-down service with chocolates, bottled water & slippers
- Spiegelau wine, water and scotch glasses
Given that the hotel had only been open for about a week, I was expecting some issues. While there were minor things, there was nothing that I have not had happen at any other hotel so I really can not complain (for example, our coffee service was not fully re-stocked one day - fixed with a call to the front desk).
The pool was incredible and barely used by anyone. We spent several hours at the pool on both Saturday and Sunday and both times there was never more than 10 people at the pool despite the 90 degree, sunny weather!
The business center was not open yet which was a bit of an irritant as we had planned to use this to web check in for our flights. Thankfully, the front desk staff helped us out and walked us through the check in at their computers.
Staff were very helpful and polite at all times.
We would not hesitate to stay at the Trump Tower again and liked the location - a two minute walk to the strip, very close to the Wynn hotel.
