A stroll in the park
We left the hotel early and went across the road to a typical American diner for breakfast. We both had a look of an other ripe tomato after being sat in the sun yesterday. Hopefully we'll turn a nice golden brown by the time we're back. We walked down 5th Ave to the Rockefeller Centre to pick up our tickets for tonight. We're going up the Top of …
A long day from SFO to NYC
Today was just long ... a bit delayed ... but no real problems. We drove to the airport and were glad we had reserved parking for our car. Long line to get through security so only had a brief time at the club, although our flight was delayed so they kept pushing back the time. The mushroom soup was good. The view was great over the Sierras and …

We checked into Trump Towers today for our 3 night stay over the 4th
of July weekend. We ended up getting and upgrade (that's 2 in as many
days!) and we are staying on the second highest floor of apartments
before the condo's start. 16th floor gives you a pretty awesome view of
Central park and the city in the back ground!!! This

... Again, I'm showing my geeky side, but I love the old classic jazz / big band numbers...and that's exactly what this was. It cheered me up so much! I took some videos...they're not great but give you the gist! One of the songs they sung had the lyrics "there's a change in the weather, there's a change in the sea, and from now on, there'll be a change in me". I dunno if it was the artsy atmos (or the bloody strong martini!) but these words ...

This one, turns out this one was for the Polish festival. Who knew? One way to get everyone to know there was such a thing I guess. This day also turned out to be the coldest we had had yet (and actually over the whole time we were there) and our guide was adamant that we would get snow before we left if it continued to be this chilly. ...

TravelPod Member ReviewsTrump International Hotel and Tower New York City
We stayed on the 16th floor overlooking central park for a discounted rate. As we were waiting for our room to become available they upgraded us. Service was fantastic, staff were pleasant and the view immaculate. We extended our 4 night stay to 7, would recommend.

Historical Traveler Reviews Trump International Hotel and Tower New York City
It Trumps the competition!!!
Having stayed in New York on a number of occasions in a variety of 4* hotels, we really did not think staying in a 5* hotel would mean such a big difference, and we were proved very wrong at the Trump International. We had read good reviews about the hotel and wanted to make sure we picked the best hotel as we were not only celebrating my 30th birthday but we had a very busy business schedule to keep.
The Trump International was everything we wanted and more. The staff were polite and obliging and the room was fantastic, from one window a view of broadway and the other window a view of the park. There is probably not enough room to record all the features that were included with the room - but i really miss the turn down service and chocs!
You really must stay at this hotel, i can not recommend enough. If you stay here though, make sure you get reservations at Jean Georges - gastronomic delight!
Perfect
Took my wife to NYC for her birthday and really wanted to make it special. After reading review after review of hotels in the area, I settled on the Trump Intl. It was the right choice. And this after staying in the cheapest room overlooking the Starbucks and newly constructed Time Warner building, otherwise known as a city view.
Service was impeccable. They made sure to wish my wife a happy birthday every chance they could and even brought up a complimentary bottle of champagne with a birthday card. I requested my suit be pressed before dinner (in 3 hrs) and they got it back to me ahead of time and did it all complimentary ($25 value). For turn down service, they'd lay out a robe, put the Trump slippers by the bed and bring up chocolates, bottled water and ice. For those concerned about security, there's always someone waiting by the elevators and you must insert your room key into the elevator panel before you can select your floor.
The room was small. But this wasn't a big deal. The linens were top notch, the room was comfortable and attractive, there was a kitchenette, a refigerator stocked with bottled Trump water (complimentary) and the flat screen widescreen TV was unobtrusive. Curtins open/close with a remote. My wife complained a little about the bathroom counter space but this was a little gripe. There's a DVD player and the staff was more than willing to send out a runner to bring us back any movie of our choice.
The location is superb. Right on central park and Columbus Circle, you're around 15 blocks from Time Square but more importantly, there's a subway station just 30 yards from the hotel front door.
Fantastic
My room was large, emmaculate and wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Stay here with reckless abandone and enjoy it.
Wonderful Hotel
We stayed at the Trump for 2 nights as part of our 1st Wedding Anniversary trip to New York. (We also stayed at the Plaza) We advised them that it was our Anniversary, and on arrival we were advised they had upgraded us to a Park View Suite free of charge. There was also champagne and chocolates waiting for us in the suite with the compliments of the Management! The Suite had wall to wall windows overlooking Central Park, Flat screen TV with DVD, beautiful bathroom and bedroom & lovely lounge/dining area. I couldnt fault it at all- and we have stayed at some fantastic Hotels. The food was fantastic and there were so many little touches that made the stay extra special- a stationary set with our name, Hotel address and direct line to our suite including business cards, luxurious bathrobes, and when housekeeping turned down the beds in the evening they tidied up and left chocolates, bottled water and a full ice bucket next to the bed. This is one of the best 5 star hotels that we have stayed in, and we will stay there again. (Didnt think much of the Plaza- too big- you are just one of many there- at the Trump you feel special)
Heaven On Earth
oh my god. my family and i loved the hotel. it was like heaven on earth. i mean with the tall 10 foot high windows from floor to ceiling it made is so preety to see everything. i walked in and didnt want to leave. i highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, its a little pricy but its definatly worth it. The staff was so grasious and treated us like royality. good work. were very very pleased and are planning to come back this winter.
Very Nice, but we didn't fit in and the staff made it obvious.
This was an extremely nice hotel. Wonderful view of Columbus Circle/Central Park, great access to the trains. However, I guess I just didn't look like a Trump guest because I was harassed in the lobby every time I tried to return to my room. Basically the staff asked "what is your name" with a "you don't belong here, and I know it" kind of look. Then once surprised to find my name was registered, the general response was a sort of "very safe building, very safe building" apology - you would think after going through this a few times, someone might write down, hey there some young people staying here, so expect the unexpected. Or something! Anyway, the doorman also accosted me when I grabbed an umbrella during a rainy day. Gee thanks, definitely worth the money. Great place to stay if you look like you belong. If you look like you don?t belong however, spend your money somewhere else (I was in general left alone at the Four Seasons, for example).
Loved the Trump
This is a wonderful hotel. We checked prices at hotels around Central Park and most wanted more for a Park view. This was a special weekend and the staff was wonderful. The champagne made us feel special. The room and view were to die for. The linens, robes, and flowers were first rate. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They made us feel like we had a million dollars. The fully stocked refrigerator was a time saver.
Having a fully stocked refrigerator meant not having to go looking for refreshments. Sure it wasn't cheap - but you get what you pay for. We will go back. We won't even consider trying another hotel.
The Best!
Impeccable service!! The service was truly amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Anything we needed or wanted was done.
This is where we became truly spoiled. You could not get any closer to a personal, 24 hour, maid than this. They would send out workers even if we wanted a coffee from Starbucks. We just purchased a new video camera and they sent a worker out to get our video tapes (complimentary) and they sent someone to our room to help us install the tapes and use the video camera. The detail of service could not be beat from personalized stationary and business cards, turn down beds at night, a personal concierge, to delicious European chocolates selectively placed daily. These are just a few the Trump had to offer us. I know why Trump is the man that he is. Thankyou.

New York's best kept secret.
I have been to New York many times for business, sometimes for weeks on out. As a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, I had the opportunity to stay at the Trump Iternational Hotel. Situated across the street from Central Park, The Trump offers nothing but first class service. Although the lobby is small , the hotel rooms make up for it. I stayed in all thier rooms there for atleast a week. I always get the suites, most of them comes with a fully equiped kitchen, with microwave, stove etc. The rooms are very spacious and most of all CLEAN. The service there is superb. Marble bathrooms with jets, excellent toiletries, and by far the best service I have experienced from any New York Hotel. I would stay here rather than the Four Seasons anytime, that is if your looking for a more "low profile" stay. I have seen Britney Spears,N'sync,Usher, and many more celebrities at the Trump International. You get your own aparment like setting, for the price of a luxury hotel in New York. Stay there for yourself, and you will not be disappointed.
