    ... life vests that didn't do it for me. I couldn't quite comprehend the idea as it looked so stupid, but at the same time there's a lot of stupid people on this planet that take the plunge without knowing their limits and jumping in with no regard as to how to even paddle in one lick of water. I was in the mood to be one with nature and instead I got the total opposite. Oh well. It was at least amusing to watch for a bit.

    ... to get up there. On one side you could see out to the ocean. There was a cute little lighthouse and between that, the ocean, and the lush green mountain it looked like a postcard. On another side you could see the city and skyscrapers which was also beautiful, and on the third side you could see the crater formed by the volcanic explosion 15,000 years ago. I seriously could not make up my mind which direction I wanted to look it was all so perfect. Beautiful just does not do ...

    ... even last long enough to get a picture. Coupled with smothered home fries and Peanut Butter Rolls and Chocolate Chip Coconut Banana Bread Sundae for dessert. Yep - satisfied. We rolled ourselves out and furthered our explorations. We battled mountains, cliffs, winding dropoff roads, rainstorms, shopping, pineapple & coffee plantations, and even Ted's Bakery.     ... just couldn't be more excited! I think time will really fly once we get to start spending the weekdays with kids and not just in meetings over stuff we've already learned.
