We stayed on the 16th floor overlooking central park for a discounted rate. As we were waiting for our room to become available they upgraded us. Service was fantastic, staff were pleasant and the view immaculate. We extended our 4 night stay to 7, would recommend.

Then we took the ferry to Ellis Island, Ellis Island is where a lot of Americans can trace their family history. Most immigrants (12,000,000) in the early days landed first on Ellis Island and were processed there through the system.

I love walking on the bridge cause as you get closer to the pylons the lines look really cool in photos. You also get a nice view of the New York skyline and Manhattan bridge from there. It is hot hot hot today and while looking ugly in our pics, they have set up some cover on the bridge that we can walk under. That helped cool you down.
