This waterfall is also the source of the Soca River, which, is nicknamed the Emerald River due to its green colour, and hence the name of the tour. From here, we headed into a small town called Bovec, where we stopped for lunch. I opted for a spaghetti carbonara, which was really scrummy! We watched someone make a bottle of wine (which ...

... the sound of the river rushing underneath us and the knowledge of being underground all contributed to that bizarre feeling. Despite there being a solid railing all the way, I still held the kids closely! As the temperature started to increase we knew we were nearing the end of our tour and underground experience. We were both glad and somewhat disappointed for it to end as the size of the caverns were simply amazing! Next stop ...

    ... and clear.
A nice dinner to end the day at a restaurant called "Ocarina". I have no idea where the ocarina fitted in to the restaurant as there was none visible in all the strange stuff in the restaurant including a picture of a red indian above a Hindu god statue. Still the food was lovely and Rami finished off with another serve of the Crème Cake that is the local specialty.
