    ... unnerving. He had a towel around his waist, then he managed to get his Speedo down around his ankles, then in one more quick move, he had his underwear on. We didn't see a thing. Europeans have no issue with changing in front of people, that's for sure. Probably why they're so good at it.

    ... join all the other punter tourists on the cramped boats, we decided instead to row out to the island from the closest point, in a rowing boat. It was a lovely calm day and our jaunt across the water was simple enough, once Mattijs had got the hang of the whole rowing thing!     ... dozens of plentas being rowed about. The little church is famous for its carving of the Virgin Mary made in the 1500's, and there is also legend of grooms having to carry their brides up the 99 steps to get married in the church - poor buggers!     ... I didn't put the brakes on at all… except for the end when I had to stop or hit a wall. That day for lunch we had the biggest kebab I've ever seen. They don’t make them in wraps here... they put them in giant toasted buns and super stuff them with massive amounts of meat, corn, cabbage, tomato, onion and garlic cream sauce. We were full for ages.
