... If you want the outdoors, cycling, hiking etc the place is paradise. Culture is a bit thin... The food and drink is cheap though and if you stayed in Ljubljana you could have a great couple of weeks.

Tomorrow we are heading home via Cologne and our friends in the Netherlands. Will the customs man let us drive the car to Bath or insist we put it on a truck? Will the car fit in the garage we have rented. Don't miss the final episodes coming up soon!!!

... t massively competent and these boats were old with old fittings. Nevertheless after some shaky moments and some left and right turns I finally mastered the action required and we headed out to the island. We relaxed and took it slow enjoying the view on all four sides. Especially breathtaking was the view up to the castle and the mountain range beyond that. Absolutely amazing. ... and decided to go to the pizza place that gave us half price pizza for doing the tour, as it was supposedly the best in town. Our guide and his girlfriend came also.
